PCMCIA writer for
MP3 player MMC cards
On the computer
Use the CD that is included with the package.
For all Windows operating systems use the setup utility PCMCIA.exe. There are 3 distinct utilities within MPCMIA.exe.
Important, if at any time, any of the three procedures asks you re-start the PC, make sure you DO NOT.
Only re-start your PC when all three utilities have finished otherwise you will have to start all over again.
Once the installaton is finished, Shutdown the PC.
Insert the PCMCIA MMC Card into the PC.
Restart the PC & the installation should complete automatically.
There will now be 2 extra Icons on the desktop : - CDex & MP3Pro

The portable player is capable of reading both MP3 & MP3Pro files. Both have a file extension of .MP3. Use CDex then MP3Pro to create your own MP3s from your CDs or get them from elsewhere. Some of the latest download sites can be found @ www.mp3.ltd.uk
Once you have MP3s on your hard drive, they can be placed on the MMC cards for the player to use.
On the writer
Insert the MMC card into the PCMCIA MMC writer attached to your PC.
Use the Windows Explorer interface to drag & drop files to the MMC card.
(In the example the removable Disk G)

Remove the MMC card from the writer.
On the computer
